About CallPing
Last updated: 2026-04-28. Effective from: 2026-04-25.
Operator. The Service is operated by ФОП Даценко А.В. (A.V. Datsenko, sole proprietor registered in Ukraine), РНОКПП 3339403456 ("CallPing", "we", "us"). Mailing address: Plytkova str. 65/106, Kharkiv, Kharkivska oblast, 61047, Ukraine. Contact details are on the Contact page.
ФОП (Фізична Особа-Підприємець) is the Ukrainian legal form for a registered sole proprietor — equivalent to a UK sole trader, a US sole proprietor with EIN, or a German Einzelunternehmer. ФОП Даценко А.В. is not VAT-registered. РНОКПП 3339403456 is the operator's individual taxpayer identification number (TIN) issued by the State Tax Service of Ukraine; VAT, where applicable to your purchase, is collected and remitted by Paddle.com Inc. as our merchant of record.
Mission
Make webhook alerts impossible to ignore by routing them through phone calls.
Email and chat are great until you have to wake someone up at 3 a.m. to fix something on fire. CallPing exists to be the last leg of an alerting pipeline — the moment where the alert moves from a screen to a ringing phone, and someone actually picks up.
What CallPing Does
CallPing receives webhook requests from your monitoring stack — Prometheus Alertmanager, Datadog, Grafana, Sentry, Statuscake, Better Stack, custom scripts, anything that can send HTTP — and turns them into outbound phone calls to people you've configured to be reachable.
You build alert scenarios that decide:
- What severity counts as a callable event.
- Who to call — yourself, a primary on-call number, an entire team, or the active members of a project.
- When to call them — schedules with timezone-aware overrides, weekly templates, and on-duty windows.
We deliver the call through a globally distributed Asterisk PBX cluster connected to multiple SIP trunks for failover. If one provider is down, the call retries on a different one.
Where We Are
CallPing is a small team. The Service is operated by a sole proprietor registered in Ukraine — see the operator block at the top of this page and the Contact page for the full identification. Future expansion (incorporation as a legal entity, additional team members, registered offices) will be reflected here as it happens.
Launch Status
CallPing is publicly available.
CallPing is offered on Solo, Team, and Enterprise plans. Solo and Team plans are sold through Paddle as merchant of record; the Enterprise tier is invoiced directly by ФОП Даценко А.В. outside the Paddle checkout flow following commercial scoping discussions. New users start a 14-day trial with a payment method captured at signup that auto-converts to a Paid Plan. See the Pricing page for current plans and quotas.
The Service operates on a commercially reasonable best-effort basis with no specific uptime target guaranteed on the Solo or Team self-serve plans; a commercial SLA with service credits and a defined uptime target is available for Enterprise customers. See the Terms of Service §7 (Service Disclaimer) and §7b (Cancellation and Subscription Lifecycle) for the full disclaimer language and the Security page for the SLA framing.
Tax-status threshold disclosure. ФОП Даценко А.В. operates under Ukrainian simplified taxation Group 3 (5% on gross revenue). The 2026 Group 3 annual gross-revenue threshold is UAH 8,285,700. In the event annual gross revenue approaches or exceeds this threshold, the operator will transition to a different tax status — including possible VAT registration under the Tax Code of Ukraine, or restructuring as a corporate entity (TOV / LLC) — and Paddle (as merchant of record) will be notified before any such change takes effect.
What CallPing Is Not
We try to be honest about what we don't do, so the right people self-select.
- Not a marketing or telemarketing platform. Outbound calls must be to numbers you own or have consent to call. See the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Not an AI-voice or text-to-speech platform. A CallPing call rings the destination — it does not read alert text aloud.
- Not a primary alerting channel for safety-critical or life-critical systems. We are infrastructure. Always maintain redundant alerting paths appropriate to the criticality of your operations.
- Not a notification firehose. The platform enforces per-phone cooldowns and per-organization daily call caps to keep alerts loud rather than noisy.
How We Think
A few opinions baked into the product:
- Ringing phones beat email. A call on your lock screen is harder to dismiss than a notification badge.
- Failover is a feature. Five PBX servers across four cloud providers and four SIP trunks are not a marketing line — they are how the call gets through when one provider has a bad day.
- Don't be loud for its own sake. Cooldowns and rate limits exist so that when CallPing rings, it means something.
- Built on Cloudflare. The whole system runs on Cloudflare Workers, D1, KV, and Queues. There are no servers we manage other than the PBX cluster.
