What stops a runaway alert from calling me 500 times?
- A 60-second cooldown per phone number — the same number cannot be called twice within 60 seconds.
- A daily organisation cap of 100 calls per day — the hard ceiling regardless of plan, set well below any tier’s monthly pool.
- A 2-minute suppression window per endpoint after a successful call — if a webhook endpoint just rang someone’s phone successfully, the same endpoint won’t trigger another call for 2 minutes, even from a different alert.
